Cleanse - Day four

Well, I was wrong.  It doesn't matter which order you drink the olive oil/lemon juice, olive oil tastes TERRIBLE.  But at least when you follow it with the lemon juice, it takes it away some.

But today I felt pretty good.  A little tired, but not any more so than usual.  And maybe even less so.  It wasn't a bad day at all, really.  A lot better than yesterday - at least I'm not ending the day with a headache.  No cramping at all today, either.

Yep.  Feel good today!

For those of you who'd like to do a shorter, more basic cleanse, I recommend the CleanStart or Taio He Cleanse, from Nature's Sunshine.
CleanStart is a really good colon cleanse, with plenty of fiber.  It helps protect your body from common colon toxins that affect your overall health. It is a two-week program that supports natural waste elimination to provide a sense of improved energy and well-being:  http://www.naturessunshine.com/us/product/cleanstart-wild-berry-14-day/sku-3993.aspx
Taio He is a Chinese formula cleanse.  It is a 15-day nutritional program designed to help the body achieve "tiao he," meaning balance and harmony.  It combines Chinese nutritional and Western herbal experience.  This cleanse is designed to support the cleansing mechanisms of the body by targeting the intestinal and digestive systems:  http://www.naturessunshine.com/us/product/tiao-he--cleanse-15-day/sku-3050.aspx

Neither of these cleanses will have you "attached to the toilet."  You will find your bowels are softer and looser than usual, and you will be going 2 or 3 times a day (rather than 1 or fewer that most people go).  They are both going to improve your body's ability to do it's job more efficiently.  It just depends on your preference.  You could try one this time, another next time.  Cleansing should be done twice a year - with the changing of the seasons is ideal (spring and fall).

I hope you'll let me know how your cleanses go, too!
